So you have 2 cents and want to throw it into the conversation. How do you reply to a Topic you ask?? Well there are 2 ways.
At the bottom of the last post there is a big “Reply to this Topic” box. Just write what you want to say and click the black “POST” button -- you’re done
If you want to add a picture to your reply or use smilies in your post -- click the greyed out “More Reply Options” button. That will take you to the big blue outlined box where you can write you post.
Then to add a picture click the CHOOSE FILES button. A secondary box will pop up --- Find the picture on your computer - highlight it and the click OPEN -- Your file will then show up above the word “Attach Files” as a thumbnail for the moment.
If you want to see what your post will look like for real before you actually post it -- click the greyed out button PREVIEW POST -- The page will refresh and if you scroll up just a tad, that is what you post will look like. If you want to make changes to it scroll down to the editing box you used before and make you edits.
Once you are happy with your post, Click the black POST button -- you’re done
Another neat feature to make it easy to follow the conversation is to "Quote" a post
Once a post gets multiple replies - sometimes its hard to understand where the conversation is going and who / what is being replied to.
There is a box that says “Quote” in the bottom corner of everyone’s post. If you click that, whatever was said in that post will now appear in your “reply” box highlighted for you. You don’t have to copy and paste text anymore. By using this feature, everyone can easily see to who and what you are replying to.
If you want to specifically say something to multiple people in a single post - click the “MultiQuote” box for each post you would like to reply to. A small box will appear at the bottom corner of your screen - once you have chosen all the posts you would like to specifically reply to, click on the black “Reply to “X” quoted post(s)” It will automatically fill in your "reply box" giving each quote its own highlight and you can now just reply between them.
